There are instances when DJO Global products become obsolete. If this occurs, follow the guide below for steps on managing an Obsolete Product in MotionMD.
Identifying an Obsolete Product: If a product is obsolete it can be identified when creating a restock. The obsolete product will be labeled with a red Obsolete pill next to the product name. A notification will appear when the user hovers over the pill with recommendations on how to proceed.
To remove the Obsolete product from the restock click on the X. The remaining product(s) on the restock are then able to be processed.
Updating Obsolete Product: Once the restock has been submitted, complete a manual adjustment of the stock record for the Obsolete SKU to prevent product from reappearing on future restocks.
- Search Inventory > Inventory Items > Type and Search SKU
