Prior to billing, it is important to ensure that all patient demographic information is up to date. If any information was missing when the initial patient agreement was set up, add the information at this time. Any claim missing information or if the attachments are not legible will be placed onto Held Billing. The FSR will need to clear the claim in Beacons (Held Billing platform).
- At the top of the screen, click on the Clinical drop-down menu and select Patient Agreements. The system displays recent patient agreements you created as well as a search field to locate patient agreements by patient name.
In the Search field, type the name of the patient and press Enter. The system retrieves all patients matching your search criteria.
Note: When searching for a patient, you must enter the full last name. The system will not retrieve information with partial name searches.
Click on the patient name. The system opens the patient agreement for the selected patient.
